Round Hill Elementary School

Round Hill Elementary School was constructed in 1962 to house 275 students in an open-plan teaching environment. Over the school’s next 50 years of life, its population grew in numbers and diversity. After absorbing the students from the now-closed Huff Lane School, Round Hill was bursting at the seams with more than 600 students.

The 3-phase project included a two-story addition to include twelve classrooms and a Cafeteria and kitchen; two-story addition to include nine classrooms, conference rooms, and Art; new 5,000 SF Gymnasium; extensive interior renovations to the remaining school; and site work to include relocation and improvement of existing utilities and infra-structure, an expanded parking lot and service drive, and initial preparatory work for subsequent phases.
