Resurrection Catholic Church

Resurrection Catholic Church in Moneta, VA received a complete interior renovation of their first floor; new monumental front entrance with traditional façade and bell tower; new porte-cochère; and the relocation of an existing elevator to a new elevator shaft addition.

Included in the first floor renovation, the mechanical systems were completely replaced and reconfigured to the new first floor layout. Most of the existing windows remain, but received new decorative interior trim. Several existing stained-glass windows were removed, salvaged, and reinstalled in new locations, and all new windows are storefront. In the basement level, an existing storage room was eliminated, and a new corridor was built for the elevator addition.

The roof was replaced; all exterior EIFS was replaced/patched; and all trim, gutters, and downspouts were replaced/painted the new color.

Site work includes accommodating the new entrance location and porte-cochère; new landscaping; and a new monumental masonry sign to replace the existing sign.
